The story of Bella and her Great Dane George, one of our 2015 ACE honorees, has gone viral! Eleven-year-old Bella, who has a rare genetic disorder that affects her growth, uses George to help with mobility.

Their story has been featured on Today.com, the Huffington Post and ABC News, among other outlets.

Over the course of many years, the Edwardsville Illinois Kennel Club has donated some of the proceeds from the club's annual two-day all-breed dog show to a wide variety of local dog-related charities and interests. The club made a sizable donation to the Alton, Illinois police department, which allowed it to purchase a dog for its K9 unit.
