Following the recent tornadoes and brutal storms in Texas, AKC club members recommended reaching out to the Friends of Rowlett and the Rowlett Animal Shelter, organizations based in Rowlett, Texas, where the storm had done considerable damage.
AKC Reunite donated 50 microchips with pre-paid enrollments for owners and $1,500 to the Friends of Rowlett, a non-profit Texas organization that is providing supplies and assistance to pets displaced in the area.
Thanks to AKC club members across the country, AKC Reunite has a national informational network to find out about local needs when disasters strike.
If you know of a club or shelter in a storm affected area that could use AKC Reunite assistance or resources, please contact Stephanie Smith email@example.com
